She also turned up evidence that showed that Dunn’s reporting that Primary Children’s ICU capacity was stretched due to Covid was incorrect. Flooding of the ICU, not Covid cases, was responsible for the bed shortage, eliminating at least 70 beds. There were only 2 or fewer cases of children testing positive with Covid in the ICU.

Salt Lake County Councilman Dave Alvord confirmed this ICU report on his Facebook account.

 Statistics from the Washington Post active crimes database show that a police officer is 18.5 times more likely to be killed by a black male than an unarmed black male is to be killed by a police officer.

But this isn’t the story that’s being told to impressionable children. Instead, they are being presented a one-dimensional social justice perspective that simply isn’t borne up by the facts.
